Spooky Season Community Festival Event Schedule
Date: October 5th, 2024
Location: Juanita's Comida Mexicana, Albuquerque, NM
4:00 PM - EVENT BEGINS
Attendees start arriving.
Carnival games and vendor booths open.
Sign-ups begin for the Pumpkin Carving, Pumpkin Painting, and Dog Costume Contest at the sign-up table (limited spots available).
5:00 PM - PUMPKIN CONTEST SIGN-UP DEADLINE
Deadline for sign-ups for the Pumpkin Carving and Pumpkin Painting contests.
Finalize all sign-ups by this time to secure your spot (only 5 spaces per contest).
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM - PUMPKIN CARVING & PAINTING CONTESTS
Participants have 30 minutes to carve or paint their pumpkins during this time.
Supplies provided, but spaces are limited to 5 participants per contest.
5:30 PM - DOG COSTUME CONTEST SIGN-UP DEADLINE
Deadline for sign-ups for the Dog Costume Contest.
Make sure your pup is ready to compete for great prizes in the Spookiest, Funniest, and Most Creative categories!
5:30 PM - PIE THROWING EVENT
Donate to throw a pie at one of the board members for charity!
Location: Main Event Area in the parking lot.
6:00 PM - 6:30 PM - VOTING FOR PUMPKINS AND COSTUMES
Attendees vote for their favorite pumpkins and dog costumes.
Voting will take place near the contest areas, so make sure to cast your vote!
6:45 PM - ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS & CLOSING REMARKS
Winners of the Pumpkin Carving Contest, Pumpkin Painting Contest, and Dog Costume Contest will be announced.
Raffle drawing for NFL tickets, Balloon Fiesta tickets, and more exciting prizes.
Closing announcements and a big thank you to all participants and attendees!
